Our publication policy is closely linked to the scientific collaborations and partnerships we have forged. We have published and will continue to publish numerous scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals as co-authors of studies in which we collaborate. We systematically provide a fully bilingual catalogue (FR & NL) for every major exhibition we mount. These include "Les Animaux et la Guerre / Dieren en de oorlog", "Amphibiens / Amphibieën", "La Forêt silencieuse / Het Stille woud", "Arachnida"... Finally, we have also begun publishing monographs, also fully bilingual, on specimens in the collection. This led to the publication in June 2020 of a first volume devoted to the museum's Asian elephant, the showpiece of our collections. This first volume covers the period from the skin's arrival in 1839 to its classification as a showpiece in 2017. All these publications can be purchased from the museum reception desk.
